Formulation Chemist

• Job Type: Full-time on-site, permanent, standard working hours
• Location: Northamptonshire

Join our client’s innovative R&D team as a personal care products Formulation Chemist at their global R&D headquarters.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct stability tests and maintain test records.
• Evaluate samples through olfactory assessments.
• Prepare personal care products bases.
• Manage stock of formulations and the ingredients.
• Develop new personal care product formulas, research market trends and investigate new ingredients.
• Perform a variety of tests, including panel tests, UV tests and viscosity tests.
• Prepare finished product samples.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ industry experience in personal care products formulation.
• Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a similar scientific field.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
