Formulation Development Lead - WALKER COLE INTERNATIONAL LTD : Job Details

Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Formulation Development Lead to join a specialist pharmaceutical company based in Bedfordshire.

Your duties and responsibilities as a Formulation Development Lead will include:

• The design and development of robust formulations according to project briefs, accounting for required claims, excipient and packaging compatibility, physical characteristics and stability and costs.
• Successfully manage multiple projects at once, maintaining accurate documentation of all research and development activities.
• Lead production scale up trials to ensure seamless tech transfer from pilot to commercial scale.
• Lead and support clinical trial activities.

A successful candidate for the Formulation Development Lead position will demonstrate the following:

• Degree level education in Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic Science.
• Experience in formulation development within the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry, preferably with topical, transdermal, skincare, liquid or semi-solid formulations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical or cosmetic ingredients and their interactions.
