Our client is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable FP&A Analyst to join their group finance team based in Jersey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for all financial reporting and advisory matters across the group. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with Workday Financial Management / Adaptive Planning tools, providing key insights into financial data and contributing significantly to monthly forecasting and budgeting cycles.
What you'll do:
As an FP&A Analyst, your role will be pivotal in managing financial data within the Workday Adaptive Planning system. You will be instrumental in supporting monthly forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring that all expenses are correctly allocated. Your excellent analytical skills will be put to use as you handle FTE & Headcount reporting, providing valuable insights into Budget & Forecast. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the analysis, review, and articulation of each department's budget and forecast to senior management and external stakeholders. Your ability to identify variances, recommend corrective actions, and provide insightful commentary will be highly valued.
What you bring:
As an FP&A Analyst, you bring strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel. Your ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritise multiple tasks will be essential for success in this role. You possess a strong initiative to learn, grow, and develop your role further. While it would be desirable if you are working towards an accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, what is most important is your commitment to delivering high-quality work, your keen eye for detail, and your ability to provide insightful analysis.
