I am recruiting an FP&A Analyst for a fast-growing, acquisitive, private equity backed technology business. In less than 20 years, they have developed market-leading proprietary technology to serve their discreet markets - current turnover is c. £50m and they have realistic aims to double this by 2027 via organic growth and targeted acquisitions. This role offers a wonderful opportunity for the post-holder to grow with them.
The FP&A Analyst will report to the Finance Director - and work closely with the CFO - whilst helping to develop a improve the FP&A (and Business Partnering) function; duties will be varied and include:
- Provide reports on performance against business metrics; provide insights to drive decision making.
- Produce analysis on gross profit and operating expenses; identify trends & opportunities.
- Develop insight to optimise long-term revenue growth; support strategic initiatives across countries.
- Prepare business cases on investments / acquisitions; follow up analysis of variances from expectations.
- Assess ROI and P&L impact of market entries, acquisitions, workforce growth, strategic partnerships etc.
- Integrate the company's financial budgets and forecasts into the long-term financial models.
- Continue to develop and maximise their recently introduced Anaplan financial planning tool.
The ideal candidate for the position of FP&A Analyst will:
- Be a newly / fully qualified accountant with prior experience in a commercial, analytical / FP&A role.
- Possess strong Excel & analytical modelling skills (e.g. Index, Match, Indirect, Pivot Tables, Sum If etc)
- Demonstrate a confident, personable approach to supporting all finance & non-finance stakeholders.
- Want to work in a high growth private equity environment where processes need to be established.
- Thrive in a busy, fast-paced role with operational and financial challenges plenty.
Salary: c. £60000 - £66000 + 10% bonus + benefits.
