FP&A Analyst - Mitchell Adam : Job Details

A stand out client in the Solihull area are looking to strengthen their Group FP&A team with an experienced Analyst focusing on using Anaplan to join a private equity backed hospitality business. The business has a team spirit offering great team social events and internal opportunities for self development and growth.

This role see you take responsibility for managing request workload from internal stakeholders, building key relationships and translating data into reports for board and PE house with a fast turnaround. The ideal candidate would be an expert in Anaplan or Cognos TM1 and be able to build complex FP&A models in the system currently and make use out of a fantastic reporting tool internally.

This role will see you getting 'out and about' in the business in your effort to understand the drivers of the business, and build effective relationships / networks across the company, therefore a proactive approach, engaging communication style and a commercially-focused candidate is needed…

Ideally, you will:

• Be using Anaplan or Cognos TM1 software on a daily basis currently and feel comfortable without system training to get up to speed
• Be used to working at pace, demonstrating the organisational skills to effectively balance many different priorities simultaneously
• Have experience of a similar role (i.e. financial analysis, financial planning, coordination of budgeting, etc.) in another fast-paced business
• Demonstrate instances in which you have been able to add tangible value to directly aid the performance of a business / business unit
• Be ambitious and motivated, with evident qualities of initiative and drive
