Cedar is currently partnering with a rapidly expanding, private-equity-backed technology and consulting business in Central London to secure an Interim FP&A Manager. This role is a 3-6 month contract with a competitive day rate of £450-550.

The Role
As Interim FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports and maintain the KPI pack, highlighting key trends and emerging risks or opportunities.
- Provide data analysis and support for key projects, collaborating with senior managers to deliver timely and accurate results.
- Act as the main financial liaison for the sale process, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Lead financial due diligence for a potential sale, including data analysis, risk identification, and reporting.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and develop valuation models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) to assess market value and advise on pricing.
- Support strategic financial planning, analysing potential deal structures and advising on optimal strategies.
- Perform additional finance-related tasks as required to support the business's objectives and the sale process.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in financial modelling, ideally within a corporate finance setting.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling software, and data visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Prior experience in interim or contract roles is advantageous but not essential.
- The rate of £450-550 per day is competitive and reflects a fair increase from your previous salary or day rate.
