Freelance Content Writer

£250/day

Hybrid Remote

My client are a leading digital print company in Huddersfield, looking for a Freelance Content Writer with an experience crafting innovative SEO-driven content.

This will be an initial four month contract, working two days per week out of their Huddersfield office and three day WFH.

• £250/day (Outside IR35)
• 4 month contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Help develop and implement content strategies aligned with our business goals.
• Write engaging, high-quality blog posts, website copy, and social media content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and creativity across all written materials.
• Craft innovative, SEO-driven content aimed at boosting organic traffic and gaining quality backlinks.
• Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and topic research to produce high-quality, competitive content.
• Assist in the management of all social media platforms, crafting high-quality, attention-demanding content and building strong customer relationships.
• Craft topical marketing emails with the confidence to track analytics and adapt based on open and click-through rates.
• Stay updated on industry trends to keep our marketing efforts fresh and competitive.

What we're looking for from you:

• Have a degree in Marketing, communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
• Possess 3+ years of experience in a Marketing or Copywriting role.
• Experience creating visuals for Instagram, and collaborating on multi-platform campaigns.
• Are confident in SEO, keyword research, and backlink-focused content creation.
• Have a proven ability to create new and engaging content for diverse platforms.
• Thrive in team settings, contributing ideas and collaborating effectively.
• The ability to multi-task and take ownership of ideas and projects.
• Have experience in the print industry (a real bonus but not essential!).
