Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Freight Forwarder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the shipment of goods from origin to destination.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange transportation and resolve any issues.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and import/export laws.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and service providers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
