Freight Forwarder - Reed : Job Details

• Salary: £28,000 to £35,000

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for managing various aspects of freight forwarding, including customs and port health clearances, coordinating deliveries, and potentially handling international ocean freight bookings.

• Handle all aspects of Customs Clearance and Port Health clearance to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate and book deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transport of goods.
• Potentially manage international ocean freight bookings, liaising with shipping lines and agents.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all operations and transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external partners to ensure smooth operation of all freight forwarding activities.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and clearance processes.
• Experience with Port Health clearance procedures.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in standard logistics software; knowledge of Multifreight is beneficial but not compulsory.
