Freight Import Operations clerk - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED Freight Import operations clerk who has a strong working knowledge of air and ocean freight to join their busy team.

Duties would include:

• Handling airfreight imports start-finish
• Taking bookings
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Customs entries
• Quoting / Pricing customers
• Tracking shipments
• Handling key accounts
• Liaising with overseas agents, airlines and HMRC daily
• General admin duties

Skills required:

• Previous air import experience
• Customs entries experience
• Cargowise experience advantage
• PC literate
• Good customer service skills

Working hours: Monday to Friday; 0900 to 1730
