Front End Developer - Vue3 - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in Laravel 8+ and Vue 3, as well as proficiency in TypeScript. The role involves modernizing a customer application used for Fraud and Investigations. Responsibilities include creating a reusable component library and developing the frontend using Vue 3 components, while the backend, built with Laravel, communicates with the API.

Key Responsibilities

• Component Library Development
• Develop and maintain a Vue3 component library using TypeScript.
• Utilize Storybook for accessibility testing and component display.
• Ensure components are reusable and can be utilized by other teams within the business.
• Frontend Application Development.
• Develop multiple pages across the product using Vue3 and TypeScript.
• Developing and delivering features across the full stack (including use of modern PHP frameworks, front-end frameworks, and other tools) 
• Closely supporting the effective design of new features and solutions 
• Contributing to the quality assurance effort, particularly through use of test automation tools (such as Cypress and Postman) and Continuous Integration tools (such as GitLab and GitHub) 

Essential Skills

• Strong expertise in Vue3 with Composition API
• Good knowledge of Laravel 8 and above
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and its nuances
• Experience with Inertia for treating the application like a single page
• Familiarity with Storybook for component display (preferred but not critical)
• Understanding of security best practices in data-driven applications
• Ability to design and develop secure and efficient components

Job Type

This is a contract position, 6 months initial however could look to extend, occasional travel to site in Cardiff
