Front-End Developer

Salary: £120,000 (Flexible)Location: Hybrid 1-3 days a week (Central London)

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-moving tech company building creative, AI-powered tools. They're looking for a Front-End Developer with strong React skills and experience in high-performance graphics rendering.

Role Overview:You'll develop and optimize a web-based graphics tool focused on performance, interactivity, and clean UI. Ideal for someone with React, WebGL or Canvas experience, and a passion for creative tech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain front-end features using React and WebGL
• Develop high-performance 2D graphics and UI components
• Optimize performance across devices and browsers
• Work closely with design, backend, and AI teams
• Write clean, efficient code and follow best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/graphics issues
• Stay current on front-end and graphics tech

Requirements:

Essential:

• Strong skills in TypeScript and React
• Solid understanding of UI/UX and responsive design
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
• Familiar with build tools (Vite, Webpack)
• Comfortable with Canvas/WebGL/WebGPU rendering
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience with Pixi.js, Three.js, or similar libraries
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools for image or design automation
• Some backend experience (e.g. Node.js)
• Familiar with CI/CD workflows
• Interest in generative art or creative coding
