A Full Stack Developer is required for this leading specialist law firm. This firm is ranked Tier 1 in their sector and operates on a global scale. They provide specialist advice and have a strong track record of success. This role is in a busy IT team and will take ownership for projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities of the Full Stack Developer
- Act as a thought leader and advocate for state-of-the-art technology practices.
- Manage your own workload while being a great coach and motivator to the wider development team.
- Facilitate and communicate effectively at multiple levels.
- Drive and participate in peer reviews to assess overall code quality.
- Understand the bigger picture around business needs and match them to technical solutions.
- Address challenges in development, emphasizing process, testing, quality management, and change/release.
- Manage risk and problem resolution by identifying issues, assessing business impact, understanding root causes, implementing solutions, and suggesting preventive measures.
- Embrace continuous learning and possibilities.
- Develop and improve our Practice Management Systems.
- Build browser-based web solutions to meet business needs and drive efficiency as part of our ongoing automation program.
Key Skills and Requirements of the Full Stack Developer
- Proficiency in .NET framework / .NET Core (C#)
- Expertise in ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Functions
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
- Expert-level T-SQL skills
- Ability to write clean, efficient, readable, and well-documented code
- Proven experience in creating and implementing effective testing plans
- Experience with code repositories
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues and debugging stored procedures
- Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements
- Familiarity with tools for profiling server resource usage and optimization
- Confident and effective communicator who is proactive, self-motivated, and has a can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to expand your skill set to overcome challenges
Additional Desirable Skills of the Full Stack Developer
- Experience in the Legal Sector
- Knowledge of Agile development principles
- Experience with Continuous Integration
