Full Stack Developer - Reed : Job Details

• Job Type: Contract (Remote)
• Location: Remote
• Daily Rate: £400 - £450 (outside IR35)
• Contract Duration: 3 months, with possible extension

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our agile team on a remote basis. This role involves contributing to the development of a new platform designed to deliver data products such as datasets, dashboards, reports, and interactive reports. This project is being implemented in Wagtail and is outside of IR35.

• Build front-end templates to implement designs and user flows created by our UX team.
• Develop models and template tags in Python as necessary.
• Implement Django/HTML templates that utilise these models and tags.
• Work on integrations that allow for front-end login, links to datasets, and integration code with authorisation services and visualisation servers (currently Tableau).
• Collaborate closely with the internal team and contribute to the iterative software development releases.
• This role does not require you to be office-based as it is a fully remote position.

• Proficiency in Python 3.6 and Django 5.
• Experience with Wagtail 6.2 (full stack) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS; experience with Tailwind CSS is advantageous.
• Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, and other relevant technologies is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and remotely.
