Fullstack Developer - Detillens - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

We are currently working with a well renowned financial services firm who are seeking to hire full-stack developers for their growing team based in Glasgow. The role will be more focused towards back-end development and Java experience is key. The right candidate will be bright and ambitious with 2-5 years experience within a similar role. 

Key Responsibilities:

•Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java.

•Frontend Development: Work on the client-side of applications using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.).

•Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.

•Ensure code quality, performance, and security across both backend and frontend systems.

•Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

•Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack.

•Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to continually improve development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•Proficiency in Java for backend development (Spring Boot experience is a plus).

•Strong knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

•Experience with frontend frameworks (React / Angular)

•Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL)

•Understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and best practices.

•Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
