KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:  Functional Skills / Employability Tutor (unqualified opportunity)Location: Stoke-on-TrentSalary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)Type: Full-time, PermanentDuties:

• Deliver English, Maths, ESOL and Employability to small groups of learners.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.

• Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.   
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety. 

Essential Criteria:*Full training and support is provided to achieve a teaching / training qualification*

• Hold Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent such as Functional Skills/ GCSE / A Level or Degree etc). 
• Have experience of delivering Training (ideally to small groups)
• Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
• Have the ability to overcome barriers and motivate learners.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
