Meraki have received a mandate from one of the largest offshore law firms looking to bring in a Fund Accountant into their office in St Helier, Jersey. The successful candidate will be required to oversee accounting matters, manage your clients, delivering financial statements & investor reports.They offer great work-life balance with phenomenal career progression, and the low turnover within the accounting team demonstrates the fantastic working culture.About the role :• Manage the day-to-day accounting, preparation of financial statements (IFRS,UK GAAP, FRS 102) and assist audit process.• Assist in reports, NAV calculations, and account statements.• Assisting with operating models and ensuring robust processes• Investigate queries and drive a culture of client serviceAbout you :• Part qualified/Newly qualified ACCA/ACA • Demonstrable practical and technical knowledge of accounting systems• Experience working within fund accounting, NAV production/oversight, or financial reporting for funds• knowledgeable of UK GAAP and IFRS, including practical application.
