Fund Accounting Project Manager - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Program Manager to lead our Quarterly Investment Reporting (QIR) program. In this pivotal role, you will ensure effective project governance and facilitate communication between key stakeholders while managing development resources based in Helsinki and Poland.

Key Responsibilities:Main Stakeholders:

• Work alongside the Performance Monitoring Team
• Engage with Financial Controllers for Fund Accounting

Team Management:

• Oversee development resources across both onshore and offshore teams
• Guide a Business Analyst (BA) to ensure project alignment and effective communication

Project Governance:

• Regularly report to and engage with steering committees
• Create and manage comprehensive project reports and plans

Workstreams:You will be responsible for two main workstreams:

• Back End Development
• Front End Development

Candidate Profile:Attributes:

• Proactive mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple moving parts effectively
• Experience working collaboratively with developers; while a technical background is not required, you should have sufficient knowledge to engage with them effectively

Experience:

• Familiarity with QIR or similar client reporting initiatives
• Experience with low code/no code automation is preferred
• Private Equity (PE) experience is advantageous
• Essential: Fund accounting experience

Project Timeline and Details:

• Current Project:Focused on enhancing our Quarterly Investment Reporting (QIR) efforts
• Systems Used:In-house built system utilizing the Neptune automation tool
• Current Phase:Data reconciliation for Fund Accounting

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid working arrangement: 3 days a week in our London office

Compensation:

• Rate: £800 per day inside IR35 via umbrella
• Duration: Initial 6 months
