Key duties and responsibilities for this fund controller position include:

  • Review quarterly fund financials and reporting prepared by the team
  • Review the investor reporting to ensure at a high standard
  • Ensure all fund accounting activities including management fees, expenses, valuations, capital calls and distributions are in line with the relevant GAAP standards
  • Ensure the reporting is compliant with all regulatory requirements
  • Prepare all accounting technical papers where necessary
  • Oversee the annual audit for the Funds
  • Take responsibility for cash flow monitoring and the management of the Funds
  • Review capital calls and distributions prepared by the team
  • Prepare quarterly Board Packs for submission to the Board
  • Support the Legal and Investor Relations team with managing investor transfers
  • Work closely with external advisors and the Legal team on tax structuring for new investments, where necessary
  • Supporting the Legal team on all other regulatory matters
  • Monitor all regulatory developments that can impact the Fund
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advisors, administrators, auditors and tax advisors, on all key matters
  • Run any ad hoc projects as and when requested by senior management

Experience & Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Accountant 10 years + PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Experience of fund accounting within PE or VC is preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple GAAPs is beneficial
  • Strong excel and communication skills
  • Experience of process improvement and documentation
  • Ability to work on own accord and deliver reports in a timely manner

With an international footprint across multiple countries, you will be joining a diverse organisation that invests globally.

With a medium sized finance team, you will integrate with both the financial reporting and fund accounting teams daily, enabling you to hit the ground running and become a valued member of the team.

This is a hybrid opportunity, so you will be required to visit the fantastic central offices in London three days per week, to enable an effective level of collaboration with the finance team and get you up to speed quickly.

You will work closely with the head of finance and manage a small fund team to ensure that the fund reporting is of the highest standard.

There is lots to get involved with and you'll gain exposure to the portfolio companies, which is the exciting piece.

Daily Rate/Salary

This exciting opportunity for a fund controller will pay between £100k-£140k, depending on your experience and background.

We are looking for someone to join the team within the next few weeks, ideally, so no more than four weeks’ notice will be considered for this opportunity.

Interviews immediately.

The assignment should be for around 12 months.
