I am seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Fundraising & Communications Manager for a medium sized charity Kent based charity. You will help expand the charity's mission by driving impactful fundraising efforts and play a key part in growing their network of supporters, enhancing their visibility, and generating essential funds to support people with learning disabilities.
Day-to-day of the role:
Identifying and Engaging Funders: Proactively research potential funders and lead successful bid submissions to secure new and ongoing funding.
Building Donor Relationships: Cultivate meaningful connections with donors, partners, and media to increase engagement and financial support.
Managing Fundraising Strategies: Oversee key fundraising streams, including individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, and legacy gifts.
Event Coordination: Plan and promote fundraising events with support from volunteers, partners, and the community.
Storytelling and Branding: Craft compelling narratives that highlight our mission and boost brand awareness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experienced Fundraiser: At least three years of experience in a fundraising or similar role within a non-profit or charity setting, or relevant qualifications.
Versatile Fundraising Skills: Knowledgeable in a variety of fundraising techniques, including digital, community, and corporate fundraising.
Engaging Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to connect with and inspire diverse audiences.
Strategic Visionary: Skilled in creating and implementing short- and long-term fundraising strategies.
