  • Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
  • Location: Flexible / Work from Home with 1-2 days at Stoneleigh Office
  • Job Type: Full-time

As the Head of Members and Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with our members and partners, driving recruitment plans, and implementing fundraising strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the UK’s biodiversity and work within a passionate and dedicated team.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with membership and support groups.
  • Implement new member recruitment plans and ensure compliance with financial and reporting regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for members, coordinating the network of Support Groups to deliver strategy and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors and corporate partners, identifying prospective collaborations.
  • Develop and administer fundraising plans, including approaches to trusts, foundations, and individual giving programmes.
  • Coordinate accredited training courses and oversee the organisation’s presence at shows and events.
  • Contribute to budgeting processes, strategic planning, and various operational tasks, including database management and event organisation.
Ideally you will have/be:
  • Experience in charity and/or membership organisations.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in working with people at various levels and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in data management, including inputting and analysis.
  • Track record of fundraising is desirable.
  • Ability to organise and deliver events is desirable.
  • Good financial management skills are desirable.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom.
