Sponsored by our GBS UK Executive Leadership, this 12-month foundational learning programme – Gallagher Rise – will provide everything you need to know about the employee benefits industry and set you up for successful career.  This programme is unique in the industry and is set up to compete with the best training programs available across financial services.

RISE includes:

  • Both in-person and virtual learning modules led by expert facilitators and subject matter experts
  • A multitude of technical knowledge and wider curriculum of professional, financial and client-facing skills training.
  • Sponsorship by the GBS executive team, and support from a wide network of mentors and peer buddies to support your networking and career development.
  • Opportunities to travel to meet and learn with your class group in major metro locations like our office in the City of London.

How you'll make an impact

As a Direct Risk and Healthcare Consultant you will be immersed in all aspects of client work, business development and internal service delivery for new and existing corporate clients from early in your career, including:

  • Developing strong internal and external relationships to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, with a prompt and flexible approach.
  • Working proactively to identify opportunities for new business, cross-selling initiatives, referrals, and growing your network.
  • Preparing client reports, presentations, and exercising professionalism in all written and verbal communications with clients and colleagues.
  • Processing applications, servicing ongoing needs and being responsible for owning a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Maintaining quality standards and making recommendations for improvements.

You will also have the opportunity for:

  • Increasing opportunities for client interaction and responsibility as your experience and capabilities evolve.
  • Support for industry qualifications.
About You

Educational Requirements

Minimum requirement of 4 in English and Maths.
