A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a German-speaking Senior Collections Specialist to join an innovative fintech company, either at their Frankfurt office or their new Berlin location!

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining your own portfolio of clients.
• Negotiating solutions that work for both the customer and the company.
• Helping with the pre-legal debt collection and formal legal proceedings.
• Analysing clients' financial situations and developing strategies to support them effectively.

With experience in debt collection or credit control, you will bring a "customer-first" mindset and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Profile:

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Completed commercial/legal education or a degree in business administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing debt collection role, either at a collection agency and/or a law firm.
• In-depth knowledge of out-of-court and court-ordered collection processes, with initial experience in enforcement and insolvency law.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build trust.
• A team-player mentality with a proactive, curious mindset.
