Join our Macquarie Asset Management Supplier Governance Office team, where we are at the forefront of operationalising our Supplier-as-a-Service strategy. This dynamic role is central to integrating supplier governance as a core function within our EMEA region, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and various departments such as Cyber, Risk, and Legal. What role will you play? As a member of the team, your key responsibilities will include overseeing and managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with our policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations. You will monitor supplier performance, working closely with relationship managers, executive sponsors, and risk teams to maintain high standards. You will conduct risk assessments to analyse, identify, and mitigate risks associated with supplier engagements. Additionally, you will develop and enforce governance frameworks that promote continuous improvement and value creation in collaboration with the global team. Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders concerning supplier inquiries, you will provide timely and informed responses.
What you offer - 3-5 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related role.
- Proven track record of managing supplier performance and applying policy and governance frameworks.
- Existing understanding of supplier governance policies and frameworks, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great communication skills.
- Proficiency in supplier management software and tools (desirable but not essential).
