GP Receptionist - Prize Placements : Job Details

My client are seeking an experienced GP receptionist, ideally with EMIS experience to join them on an ongoing basis.

Main duties of the job

• Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients any other visitors to the practice
• Have a high degree of empathy, diplomacy and integrity and be able to demonstrate sensitivity and an awareness of patients needs
• Be reliable, professional and adaptable to excel in an ever-changing environment
• Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments
• Handing completed repeat prescriptions to patient and checking names and address.
• Process appointment requests from patients by telephone and in person.
• Receive and make telephone calls as required. Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery

Hours of work:

You should be available to cover 3 shifts - 7.55-15:55, 10:30-18:30 & 11:30 - 20:00.
