Graduate Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Bradford who are recruiting a Graduate Accountant/Junior Accountant to join their team. You will assist the Group Finance Director in managing all aspects of the finance department including streamlining processes. Training will be given. 

Location: Bradford (office-based)Job-Type: Full-TimeSalary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Accruals/prepayments preparation and postings
• Cash flow management
• Management foreign currency purchases, foreign supplier payments and forward contracts
• VAT returns
• P11d reporting and expenses
• Credit control management
• Company credit card postings
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and recharges
• National statistics reporting
• Liaise with professional parties (solicitors, banks, accountants)

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience in accounts or a graduate in an accounting related subject
• Computer literate
• Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines within a fast paced environment
• Accurate with a strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of Excel, Sage 200, Sage CRM and SharePoint (desirable)
