Are you passionate about data, analytics, and problem-solving? Do you want to develop your skills in Business Intelligence (BI) development whilst working for an organisation with a real social purpose and impact? If so, we're looking for a Graduate Business Intelligence Developer to join our Group Planning & Performance team.

As a Graduate BI Developer, you'll support the design, development, and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions, transforming raw data into meaningful insights relating to our homes, tenants and operational performance. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you'll develop data models, pipelines, reports, and dashboards within our Azure data platform using Power BI.

Responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Assisting in gathering requirements, developing data models, and creating reports and dashboards.
  • Participating in development sprints, user acceptance testing (UAT), and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensuring compliance with coding standards, version control, and data governance policies.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and BI best practices.
  • Seeking mentorship and continuous learning opportunities to enhance technical and professional skills.

What We're Looking For?

We're searching for a curious, analytical, and self-motivated individual with:

  • A BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Foundational SQL knowledge and familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, Java, or C).
  • A basic understanding of database concepts, ETL/ELT, and data modelling.
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and an interest in data storytelling.
  • Awareness of cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data protection regulations (including UK GDPR).
