Do you have an Electronic Engineering background, either by qualification or from time served, and want to work on some of the most cutting edge technology like IOT (Internet of Things), Microprocessors, Printed Circuit Boards and control systems whilst being given the freedom to carry our your own R&D and put your results into practice?

Our client are a rapidly expanding business based in Somerset who have a great management team and because their R&D team is small they are agile and flexible - things can be done the same day via the company expense account, unlike larger more laborious companies. No two days will be the same and if one weekend you are implementing one of your designs on site then, you will be given time off in lieu during the week. Our client are warm to homeworking for 1 day per week.

The Role:

• Research and development of Smart Tech controlling water flow
• Daily Prototyping & R&D
• Designing Passive and Active Circuit Board layouts
• Research and Development of smart sensing devices
• Designing Circuit Board, Microprocessors, using ESP32
• 32 Bit Micro Processor Architecture
• Configuring Control Systems
• Using IOT
• Using AWS IOT Core
• Using MQTT, Mosquitto
• OTA Updates
• Firmware Development
• Willingness to get involved in Installation (Installation Engineer and get hand dirty
• Sponsorship is possible for candidates with significant electronics experience

The Person

• Graduate Electronics Engineer or Electronics Engineer.
• Interest in IOT (Internet of Things)
• Able to commute daily to Biddisham, Somerset
