Job Description - Graduate Maths Academic Mentor

• Salary: £500-£560 per week
• Support Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Join an ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ graded Secondary School
• Take part in a tailored development scheme to expand your understanding of education
• Full-time, long-term position
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Location: Croydon, South London - with excellent transport links

Do you have a desire to share your expertise with enthusiastic learners while gaining hands-on experience and deepening your knowledge?

As a Graduate Maths Academic Mentor, you’ll assist students in their studies and exam preparation by applying your in-depth subject knowledge. Working both 1-on-1 and in group settings, you’ll lead sessions and use engaging resources to help students grasp concepts. Your role will involve working with students of all abilities, helping them to reach their personal academic goals.

With the school's focus on increasing the number of future Russell Group alumni, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding students towards success and preparing them for their futures.

Many previous Graduate Maths Academic Mentors have successfully transitioned into qualified teachers through paid teacher training or PGCEs.
