Graduate Teaching Assistant Role in Islington

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Islington, offering a great opportunity for recent graduates to start their careers as Teaching Assistants. This position begins in September 2024 and spans the full academic year, with potential for extension.

The school is looking for graduates to support teachers and students in the classroom. Ideal candidates will be recent graduates with strong communication skills, dedication, and a passion for working with students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and support students during lessons, one-on-one sessions, and intervention groups.
• Help across all year groups, including Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus but not required).

Qualifications Required:

• A degree qualification
• Strong GCSE grades
• Availability to work from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply
• Two professional references
