Graduate Teaching Assistant - Canterbury

We are seeking Graduate Teaching assistants who are keen to join an SEN school located in the Canterbury area for the start of the new academic year! As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work within an SEND school setting to support children on the autisitc spectrum. For Graduates keen to build a long term career within the education setting this school offers the opportunity for career progression and future development into teaching!

Responsibilities:

• You will be working alongside the SENDCo to provide expcetional support to each individual child
• Work either 1:1 or with children in small groups to promote all aspects of their development
• Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment at all times
• You will be ensuring that all children will be on track with their developmental milestones
• Prepare learning materials and assignments alongside the classroom teacher

Requirements:

• You must be a Graduate
• Ideally have SEND experience though not essential if you are open to giving it a go
• Have excellent written and verbal English skills
• Either live in Canterbury or within a commutable distance
• You must be available to start in September
