They have the vision to help everybody who is a part of their community with physical, mental, legal and career challenges and champion individuals well-being, working with people to provide support or advice to enable them to manage whatever is in front of them, knowing they are not alone. The are now currently seeking a temporary Grant Support Officer, to join their team on a temporary basis, initially for 3 months, with the potential of extension.

In this role you will support the delivery of the service by providing independent person-centred expert advice, guidance and case management support. You will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive reviews of applications for financial assistance, on behalf of service users. You will write accurate and objective 'reports', prepare financial statements, make recommendations for donations and present to their Support Fund members panel for approval of financial assistance/donations/grants. You will assess and manage service users requests in terms of declines and grant approvals up to the support officer limit and attend support fund meetings and contribute accordingly as decision-making members thereof.

To be considered for this role, you will have knowledge and understanding of case management, person centred working, case work processes and compliance, as well as strong service user service experience, supporting individuals with multiple and complex support needs. You will also have experience using databases and case management systems including input and retrieval of data. They currently use 365 Dynamics system, so candidates with experience using this/and or similar are encouraged to apply.

Please note, this is a full-time role, 35 hours p/w, Monday - Friday. The role is based in Rugby, offering hybrid working (2 days a week in the office and 3 days WFH).
