Grinder - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Grinder required to join a well-established Manufacturing company based in the Gateshead area. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake metal grinding operations using shop floor equipment. You will come from a surface grinding background and ideally have some experience with cylindrical grinding also (not essential).

• Undertake metal grinding operations using shop floor equipment
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Produce parts within quality standard required
• Work to tight tolerances
• Be flexible across machine shop/factory
• Assist team leader as required

• Time served competent grinder
• Extensive grinding experience in engineering organisations
• Be able to do surface and cylindrical grinding (surface grinding experience is the priority)
• Work to detail and fine tolerances
• Flexible and able to work overtime as required

• Full time - Permanent position
• Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 17:15
• £30,000 - £31, 270 start rate (chance to earn more after 12 week probation period should you prove you skillsets)
• Overtime available with additional rate
