Group Accountant - Oliver James : Job Details

Delighted to announce Oliver James have partnered exclusively with a global insurance company to find a Group Accountant to join their finance team.

The Group team plays a key part in delivering the year end group financial statements.

It's important to note this is a 6 Month Contract however there is a high likelihood of it being extended or being made permanent.

What you can expect:

• Support the quarter end close/year end process
• Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliation.
• Production of the annual report and other group key deliverables.
• Working closely and collaboratively with other Finance Teams, especially the IFRS 17 Team.

What you need to apply:

• Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• General insurance experience preferred.
• A good understanding of regulatory standards especially for insurance.
• Experience liaising with auditors and third party consultancies.
