Group Accountant - Altum Consulting : Job Details

Altum Consulting are working with a well-known retail company to recruit an Interim Group Accountant based in Wellingborough, Northampton. This role will be for an initial 6 months with the potential to extend due to upcoming needs. Applying candidates must be immediately available/on a short notice period.

Role:

• Preparing & reviewing year-end statutory accounts
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS16
• Dealing with multi-currency and intercompany transactions
• Preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with the payroll team
• Liaising with the Head of Tax
• Being a key point of contact for the audits
• Continuous process improvement
• Ad hoc work

You'll be/have:

• Experience with multi-currency and intercompany
• Experience with IFRS16
• Excellent communication skills
• Process improvement mindset
• Strong attention to detail
• Available immediately
