Group Accountant - Meraki Talent Limited : Job Details

Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client are looking to add a Group Accountant to the current team. This role will report to the Financial Controller and will support the project accounting requirements of the team.The successful candidate will be responsible for:   

• Managing stat accounts and audit c.18 entities, working with external advisors
• Controlling intercompany transactions and reconciliations including interest, rent and management fees.
• Corporate tax, working with our external advisors.
• UK and overseas VAT (several VAT groups including GBP and EUR).
• Managing bank accounts and treasury, and making ad hoc group payments
• Working with operational finance and corporate finance teams to coordinate group transactions
• Supporting senior team members with lender information requirements, IPD calculations, etc.
• Supports junior members of the team with queries when required.

  Experience required:

• ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountants will be considered.
• Able to work to challenging deadlines.
• Outstanding attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
