Description
- Monitors budget progress, reports variances, and ensures compliance with local financial laws and regulations.
- Implements and maintains the global financial control framework.
- Independently collects and analyses data to produce high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Responsible for key financial documents, including statutory accounts, monthly reports, budgets, re-forecasts, management accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manages the monthly accounting cycle, including coordination of month-end processes and Board reports.
- Ensures compliance with statutory accounting and tax requirements, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Provides support and advice on data management systems.
- Gathers and summarises data for reports and improvement projects.
- Resolves complex customer or supplier queries, referring to policies when needed.
- Contributes to developing financial policies and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification in Accounting (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytically and numerical skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Job Offer
