Position: Group Financial AccountantContract:12 Months Company: Service Company based in Darlington

Hays are currently recruiting for a leading service provider based in Darlington who pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive success for their clients. What You'll Do:

• ?? Manage and consolidate financial statements for our diverse group of companies.
• ?? Analyse financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
• ?? Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• ?? Conduct financial audits and prepare detailed reports.
• ?? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• ?? Providing advice on technical accounting areas including analysis of the impacts of developments and changes in GAAP.
• ?? Assisting with group taxation affairs including year-end tax accounting, corporation tax compliance and maintenance of the group tax risk register.

What the client is looking for:

• �? Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• ?? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ?? Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
• ?? Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• �? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
