Group Financial Controller | £70,000 - £80,000 | Enhanced pension, medical and bonus | Blackburn | Services BusinessAxon Moore is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a large corporate services business in Blackburn.* Please note: This is a technically broad and challenging role and therefore the client has specifically limited their search candidates with strong technical experienceOur client has developed into a major UK competitor within their field of expertise. They have seen rapid expansion in recent years that has been down to both organic growth (trading off their strong brand position) and through M&A fuelled by their investors, but now they're entering a season where they need to consolidate and strengthen their position for the future. The business is now entering its next phase of development as it matures and consolidates its strong position. Key to this next phase will be the hiring of an experienced Group Financial Controller who can progress with the business. The ideal candidate will be practice trained, with audit or industry experience within FS (desirable). The candidate will ideally have 4 - 8 years post-qualification experience in industry working in a technical role in a challenging industry. The candidate will be rounded and mature enough to assist board meetings and do presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders.
