Description

The Group Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Manage the group consolidation process and prepare consolidated financial statements
  • Lead the coordination of external audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes across the group
  • Provide expert tax advice and oversee tax planning initiatives
  • Produce insightful financial analysis and reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with various departments to drive process improvements and efficiency's
  • Support M&A activities with financial due diligence and integration planning

Profile

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable post-qualification experience
  • Strong background in group accounting within a complex, multi-entity structure
  • In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
  • Previous experience in external audit, preferably within the FMCG sector
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial reporting systems
  • Able to commute to commute to St. Albans a couple days a week
