Responsibilities of the Group Reporting Manager

As a Group Reporting Manager, your role will be integral to the preparation of financial results for our client's group. You will ensure proper accounting is performed while building and maintaining an efficient control environment. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you supervise the process of full group consolidation, work closely with external auditors, and manage tax workings and submissions. Your commitment to continuous improvement will be key as you support the design and implementation of robust control environments focused on risk management.

  • Supervise and own the process of full Group consolidation working in conjunction with the Group Finance Manager.
  • Be responsible for the production of multiple sets of financial statements within the Group.
  • Work with external auditors and other Finance leaders to plan and run a smooth audit cycle.
  • Carry out Corporation tax workings and submissions to Tax partners.
  • Compile and submit monthly VAT returns ensuring smooth reporting to HMRC.
  • Ensure business compliance with all statutory responsibilities.
  • Support the design and implementation of a robust control environment focussed on risk management.
  • Prepare additional reports and execute additional projects as required by business needs.

What the successful candidate will bring

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified with at least 5 years PQE
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Experience working with group consolidations with complicated group structures
  • Experience dealing with both Corporation Tax and VAT
  • Strong understanding of control and process design, testing, and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, collaboration, and relationship building
