Head Chef - Search : Job Details

Head Chef* £40,000* 40 hours per week* 52 weeks per yearOne of the UK's leading independent catering companies, serving high-quality, freshly cooked food to thousands of people in schools and workplaces every day.We are looking for a Head Chef to lead one of the school catering teams. The position will be responsible for providing a breakfast and lunch and dinner service, managing the team, maintaining stock control and planning menus.The ideal candidate will have proven craft and management skills, a real passion for fresh food. Ideally qualified to NVQ level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary for working 40 hours per week. Typical shift patterns include 6am - 2pm or 11am - 7pm Monday to Friday. Weekends are done on rotation and would be 1 in 3.
