Head Chef - Compass Group UK : Job Details

We are excited to be recruiting for a Head Chef to work at Cromwell House. This position involves working at a small workplace site that provides a hot buffet breakfast, h0ot buffet lunch, sandwiches, and buffets for events. We are looking for a chef who is passionate to write menus, provide costings and is happy to work alone.

Location: SW1P 3JHRate of pay: £38,000 - £40,000 per annumWorking pattern: Monday - Friday working either 7.30am to 4pm or 7am to 3.30pm

Key responsibilities

• To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
• To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
• To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
• To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
• To be creative when menu planning
• Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
• Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen
