Head of Accommodation & Housekeeping wanted for an exciting opportunity

Location:         Cambridgeshire

Length:            Permanent

Salary:             £43,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage accommodation and housekeeping to deliver an efficient and consistently excellent service
• Oversee effective and compliant use of the accommodation database
• Develop and oversee the housekeeping operations across all sites
• Ensure regular inspections and audits are undertaken to ensure high standards are maintained
• Define, implement, monitor and consistently deliver cleaning standards, procedures and administration to cover all buildings, including accommodation, public and communal areas
• Lead and motivate a team of staff who are employed over multiple sites
• Develop rotas and allocation of work which are effective to deliver a high standard of housekeeping across the operational estate
• Set performance goals and carry out appraisals
• Advise project teams on furnishing and fittings for new rooms or fit-outs and act as the project manager for small works where required

Requirements:

• You must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Accommodation or Housekeeping, or equivalent significant relevant experience
• You must have experience of budgeting, forecasting and budget management
• Extensive demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team to deliver high standards
