We are working with a Top Global Organisation looking for a Head of Business Applications and Digital Transformation to drive the company's technology vision.

This is a complex organisation which currently has over 500 applications across different business units and countries. You will therefore be required to support legacy system transformations and ambitious digital projects.

This role will require complex stakeholder management skills, the ability to efficiently utilise a large budget and work with 3rd parties. In the initial stages of this role you'll be in a predominantly technical space, being hands on with ERPs, CRMs, websites and wider legacy applications before moving into more of a strategic leadership role once the project has matured.

This is a fantastic opportunity for international exposure, career progression and making a real difference within an organisation. You will be working across technical and non-technical teams and provide key leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and management of business applications across the Global Organisation.
  • Translate business strategy into application design.
  • Support the companies' digital ambitions including website and custom applications.
  • Manage the deployment of ERP and CRM solutions - specifically D365.
  • Streamline technology deployment across Business Functions and sites.
  • Lead and manage the Digital Delivery team including offshore developers.
  • Develop the Digital culture through Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps, Lean etc.
  • Demonstrate technical and functional expertise including UAT, user consultations, documentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Engage meaningfully with senior stakeholders.
  • Support Project Management activities and champion IT governance and compliance.
  • Provide professional leadership within the application team.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience within a complex global organisation, delivering large suites of enterprise application services.
  • Experience streamlining and implementing modern and legacy applications.
  • Ability to be hands on and technical.
  • Experience implementing middleware solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
  • Experience leading partnerships with suppliers, internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Experience across the application lifecycle from architecting, designing, building and maintaining.
  • Experience with Java is preferable.
  • Experience with D365 is preferable.
