MERJE is seeking a dynamic Head of Collections for a leading company in the Payments Solutions sector. This key role offers significant growth opportunities, overseeing collections and debt recovery across UK, Ireland, and Europe. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in collections, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive change in a fast-paced global environment.

The Role

As Head of Collections, you'll lead a team of 25, develop strategies aligned with company goals, and be responsible for the UK's bad debt charge. This role offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving international business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive collections and debt recovery policies
• Manage UK & Ireland debt recovery and 3rd party contracts
• Develop a corporate account management approach for larger customers
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team
• Leverage technology to enhance collections and debt recovery operations

Required knowledge and experience:

• 5+ years of senior collections experience
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland debt recovery processes
• Experience implementing collections software and strategies
• Proven track record in team leadership and change management
• Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skills
