Head of Commercial Finance - Fin Search Ltd : Job Details

Fin Search are recruiting a Head of Commercial Finance on a permanent basis for a leading retail brand based in Bradford. This is a newly created role due to continued strong performance by the business.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 2 days in the office and 3 days at home each week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant looking for a role with the chance to influence senior stakeholders in a forward thinking organisation

As the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will be responsible for managing the month end process to include full Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and budgeting and forecasting.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, management of daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting, reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysing results, spend and performance analysis whilst continuously providing a business partnering service to assist stakeholders in commercial decision making.

This role will be responsible for managing a small team to ensure timely and accurate reporting and their personal development.The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
• Have a proven background within commercial finance
• Have experience of leading a month end process
• Have the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
• Have advanced Excel skills

£70,000 - £75,000 + £5,000 car allowance + up to 15% bonus scheme + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + opportunity to buy/sell 5 days per annum + pension scheme + private medical insurance + generous staff discount scheme + cycle to work scheme + hybrid working model
