Position OverviewThe Head of Data and Insights is a pivotal role that integrates data-driven decision-making into the organization's strategy and daily operations. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CTO, this role will influence decisions across the senior leadership team. The role involves leading the development of a centralized data and insights team to deliver valuable insights and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making. The focus will be on insights, innovation, and building a foundation in essential data practices, such as governance, management, analytics, and AI, to unlock hidden value and explore external data opportunities.

This role will drive transformational change in how decisions are made, shaping future products and services. A key responsibility is promoting the use of data and insights to inform strategic decisions. The role holder will lead the development of innovative analytical products to support the company's growth objectives, providing strong leadership and embedding new capabilities into routine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a data insights function and strategy
• Develop a roadmap for implementing the data strategy to drive a data-driven culture
• Build relationships and partnerships across the organization to align the data strategy with business objectives
• Oversee the creation of performance dashboards and visualization tools, incorporating innovative technology
• Provide analytical capabilities to interpret data for operational decision-making
• Ensure robust data governance and management practices
• Ensure the technical infrastructure supports current and future needs
• Take ownership of the bespoke predictive modeling tool used for forecasting charge point utilization
• Lead the development of additional predictive models, such as those for predictive maintenance
• Explore emerging data analysis techniques and AI technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Candidate specification

Ideal candidate will have high-growth company experience and have operated at Head Of level previously. This is a greenfield opportunity so you will take full reign of their data efforts, reporting into the CFO.
