We are working on behalf of a prestigious client in the retail and wholesale sector, seeking a talented Head of Delivery - Development to oversee and drive the successful delivery of development projects and change requests.

This is a leadership role, pivotal in aligning project delivery with strategic road maps and ensuring the effective execution of technology-driven initiatives that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to align project delivery with strategic road maps.
  • Manage the full delivery life cycle of development projects, from initiation to closure.
  • Oversee project portfolios, optimising resource allocation to meet organisational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, fostering agility and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technology teams for seamless integration.
  • Monitor project performance, addressing risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Promote and champion delivery methodologies and best practices across the organisation.
  • Foster a culture of professional development and excellence within the delivery function.
