Head of Development – Leeds (Hybrid) - £60,000Process Improvement/Maturation | React/Next.js/Shopify Stack | Flexible Working | 5-10% Bonus Scheme…Ada Meher is currently resourcing for a candidate to join an award-winning eCommerce Platform Vendor & Shopify Plus Partner who are looking to add a Head of Development to their established Shopify development function as they look to continue to mature their processes and standards following a successful growth phase. The successful candidate will look after 3 squads of Devs & QA Engineers to help them develop and grow as well as undertake critical strategic projects such as a move towards automation testing.The ideal candidate will have both the prior experience working in Shopify with Custom Themes & Liquid as well as vanilla JavaScript, as well as proven experience driving high performance teams and being a point of escalation for technical issues.The business has an excellent reputation for the flexibility they offer their staff. They aim to build teams full of high-performing individuals and then give them space to deliver, focusing on deliverables over time at desk. This role is able to be worked on a hybrid remote basis, however you can expect to travel into their Leeds offices a few times a week so should be located within a commutable distance.To be considered:

• Demonstrable work history in Shopify Development
• Comfortable being a point of escalation for technical issues
• Experience with mentoring and developing a team of Developers (including 1-to-1s)
• Demonstrable experience implementing new processes and standards into a team
• High level experience in Automation Testing would be a benefit
